A Little About Minerals

Minerals activate the vitamins in our body and are necessary for the constant building of the human structure. When its Vitamins that need constant replacements from being used up, minerals are constantly present. For example calcium and phosphorus are always present in the bones. Historically deficiency of calcium and magnesium can cause brittle weak bones. These very same elements help keep the structural systems strong and sturdy.

Where do minerals come from? Plants obtain trace minerals from the earth. Animals get their portions from the plants. WE as humans obtain ours from these very 2 sources. Needless to say, this is why its imperative to keep the earth rich and thriving for without in "its vital health", there would be little decent mineral derivatives up the food chain - one of our main problems.

The other type of mineral is a chelated mineral. A chelated mineral is wrapped in a protein molecule for. Minerals require this process to enter the blood stream. If a mineral is not chelated, it will not be accepted by the body, not activate the vitamins, and all of it is passed out of the body with no benefits at all.

Our own bodys have the capcity to chelate the mineral before it can be used. lst process is to dissolve the mineral so that it enters our system effectivly. Unfortunatly, most of the time, the desolve process is a failure because of s poor digestion process. The suggestion is to take minerals in pre-chelated form or simply add pre meal supplements or digestive enzymes to the diet. Food enzymes aid in the digestion of protein, cooked and process foods. Be good to your body and allow minerals and vitamins to take their proper course.
